On September 29, the newly built Foshan Museum officially opened, showcasing a collection of around 50,000 cultural relics. Among them are 9,000 precious artifacts, placing the museum second in Guangdong Province in terms of collection size.

Visitors are welcome to explore the museum free of charge by making real-name reservations in advance through the official website or WeChat account of Foshan Museum (佛山市博物馆).

Situated in Foshan New Town, the museum spans 42,000 square meters, with over 20,000 square meters of core exhibition space. Its design draws inspiration from the concept of a "Splendid Treasure Box" and the alleyways of traditional Lingnan residences. The exterior features a striking white facade composed of six interlinked cubic structures of varying sizes.

The collection covers a wide range of categories, including porcelain, pottery, calligraphy, paintings, stone rubbings, gold and silver ware, coins, and folk artifacts. Highlights include Lingnan specialties such as calligraphy and paintings, Shiwan pottery, ironware, woodblock New Year pictures, martial arts relics, and Cantonese opera artifacts.
