A promotion event for the Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) was recently held in Dongguan, south China's Guangdong Province, highlighting new opportunities for international collaboration in the smart electronics sector.
Themed "Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced," the AIE will take place in Zhuhai and Macao from December 4 to 6.
The expo aims to build an international platform for enterprises to showcase themselves by leveraging the industrial strengths of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, said Liu Ying, executive deputy secretary-general of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and secretary-general of the AIE Organizing Committee.
The new-generation electronic information industry is a pillar of Dongguan's economy thanks to its complete industrial chain. Hence, local enterprises should take full advantage of this expo to boost their global presence and influence, said Chen Zhiyang, deputy director of the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Commerce.
With the joint efforts of government, chambers of commerce, and enterprises, the expo is expected to serve as a engine for driving smart products from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to the global stage.
