Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo (MSRE) 2021 will be held at Area A of China Import and Export Fair Complex from September 24 to 26. Over 1,000 exhibitors from over 64 countries and regions will bring their unique products to MSER. The new ambassador to China of Solomon Islands will visit Guangdong for the first time.
This year, MSRE sets up a new special exhibition area for over 40 foreign trade bases in Guangdong, including the jewelry base in Panyu district of Guangzhou, the decorative lighting base in Guzhen town of Zhongshan, ceramics base in Foshan, and so on. It will adopt a digital display mode integrating both online and offline, organizing global purchasers to watch the exhibition and purchase online through online global live broadcast, enhancing the global influence of foreign trade bases.
Moreover, MSRE will set up exhibition areas for artificial intelligence, digital economy, and Silk Road e-commerce for the first time, showcasing the latest products such as robotics, unmanned and aerial vehicles.
During MSRE, a series of measures to support the development of financial service in Guangdong’s overseas economic and trade cooperation zones will be issued, aiming to help Guangdong enterprises to explore the international market.
An exclusive forum for MSRE will also be held at the Guangzhou Yuexiu International Convention Center on August 24. At the same time, under the theme of regional economic and trade cooperation, a series of supporting activities will encourage countries along the Belt and Road to share more opportunities and established a comprehensive and compound connectivity partnership to ensure steady and long-term development.
According to MSRE,foreign participants are required to reside in China for at least 21 consecutive days before the expo. All participants of the opening ceremony are required to provide negative nucleic acid test reports within 48 hours, which should be tested in Guangdong. Nucleic acid tests will be provided at the exhibition hall and the reception hotel (Dongfang Hotel) for free.
